Warm Hearts, Full Plates: TNI’s 323 Task Forces Spread Joy in Kondokwe

PUNCAK - A simple act of kindness turned into a moment of unity and gratitude in Kondokwe Village, Puncak Regency, Central Papua Province. On Sunday, December 1, 2024, the Pintu Jawa Post of the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, under the leadership of First Lieutenant Caroko, offered a heartfelt gesture to Kondokwe residents by providing a free lunch.

As the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) Operational Command HABEMA conducts its mission along the Papua-New Guinea border, the Soldiers stationed at Pintu Jawa Post found a way to go beyond their primary duties. Around midday, as several residents paused near the post during their activities, the 323 Task Forces saw an opportunity to connect with the local community. Through friendly conversations, they extended an invitation for lunch, ensuring the visitors left not only with full stomachs but also with warm memories.

One resident, Aldo Waker, expressed her appreciation with a heartfelt message: “Thank you, Commander 323, we are full. God bless you.” The gesture highlights the shared humanity that bridges differences and builds trust between the TNI and the communities they serve.

Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, Commander of the 323 Task Forces, emphasized that such actions reflect the unit's core mission of addressing the community’s needs while fulfilling their operational duties. Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, Commanding General of HABEMA, echoed this sentiment, stating, “The 323 Task Forces' initiative is a testament to TNI’s commitment to meeting the community’s basic needs, fostering development, and building hope in Papua.”
