NDUGA - The Task Forces of the Para Raider Infantry Battalion 432/Waspada Setia Jaya Kostrad, one of the military units under The Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command (KOOPS TNI) in Papua, is currently carrying out the mobile security at the border of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, especially in Nduga Regency area, Papua Pegunungan Province. On Tuesday, 9 July 2024, the 432 Task Forces Patrol Team conducted security patrols in the Mbuwa District, specifically the Otalama Village. In between the activities, the Soldiers had the opportunity to distribute free the Basic Necessities to residents they met along the patrol route.
In his emphasis on the Soldiers, the Commander of 432 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Zulfikar Akbar Helmi, conveyed the importance of the Task Force's attention to the basic needs of the community in the assigned area. Therefore, before the patrol started, the Mbuwa Post, led by First Lieutenant Fahrizal, prepared several packages of the Basic Necessities to be distributed to residents. Once ready, the Patrol Team sets off to conduct patrols and continues to prioritize safety factors in distributing the Basic Necessities to residents.

When the distribution was done, the Otalama residents who received them expressed their joy with big smiles while saying thank you. A respected Papuan Papa in the Otalama Village, named Anton Gwijangge, even said "Praise God, Commander of the 432, thank you for the supplies. God bless you, Soldiers."
"The initiative of the 432 Task Forces to distribute the Basic Necessities in the Otalama Village is the TNI's effort to provide basic needs services, to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region, " said the KOOPS TNI Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, upon receiving the program report.
